Ra Popham Scholarship
Margeret "Ra" Popham was very instrumental in the promotion and growth of youth soccer in the Brevard area. She served as a board member and District B5 Commissioner. It is with great honor that the Brevard Youth Soccer League award this scholarship to outstanding BYSL players as they exemplify those traits of given back to the sport of soccer as "Ra" did during her tenure with the Brevard Youth Soccer League and the Florida Youth Soccer Association.
Joe Goldian Scholarship
Joseph Goldian was a member of the Florida Youth Soccer Association Board of Directors and a former vice president and state registrar. He was a former chairman district and commissioner for the Brevard Youth Soccer League. He was also a long-time game official and tournament organizer.This annual scholarship is awarded to a high school senior in Joe's name, so that his work with area youth in soccer will always be remembered.
FYSA AWARDS
The Florida Youth Soccer Association honors many people and clubs at the Awards Banquet during the Annual General Meeting. The AGM is held in late July - early August.
